The alleged incidents of racism which are believed to have occurred at Crawley Town haven't been reported by the police.

Seven Crawley players have come forward in the last month and reported incidents of racial behavior and language towards the PFA.

A former coach John Yems was suspended by his employer, prior to leaving, in light of what the League Two club called "serious and credible" accusations that he had used discriminatory words and conduct against his players..

The PFA as well as the FA investigations are still ongoing however there is none Sussex Police probe as the club hasn't disclosed the allegations to the police.

An official from Crawley said to Sky Sports News: "At this time, Crawley's FA has not informed the club of any information that could need to be filed as the police report, but we have acted in line of their advice.

"However, if The FA reports any such findings in the course of their continuing investigation, the club will of course follow their guidance and take the appropriate action."

The club also stated that they would no longer be investigating the incidents on their own and that they were willing to cooperate with the FA's investigation.

The spokesperson also said: "John Yems is no any longer a member in the football club Crawley Town Football Club. We remain fully cooperating with the FA's investigation that is currently being conducted.

"Any future actions taken from the team will be decided at the appropriate time , in the light of The FA's conclusions.

"We remain eager to partner with our players, staff and supporters as we build a team and community that fans can continue to be proud of - both on and off the pitch."

Sky Sports News was informed last month the PFA offered support and counselling for those who have made allegations against them or have been affected by the allegations.

Yems is denial of the accusations.
